In January my mom's sister came to visit us with her adorable family... It was good! Ha! We wend to the beach and to my grandpa's ranch. The last time they saw grandpa was in 2000. 10 years... Wow!!!

I may have a sling that keep me from using my left arm... But, i'm still gonna blog! :)

I never even imagine how much i would miss it, since i'm right handed, but... I do! I type really slow and make a lot of mistakes. :) It comes with the job i guess...

Well, i can say that i am missing my right arm as well... But not the one you all may think of... I'm missing my Mom!

She went on the 7th to Venezuela on a missionary trip with our Pastor's to preach in a women's event there.

I'm kinda missing her, because, she is my best friend... But i'm also very glad because she is doing God's work... And that is her duty as a Christian!

So, i just want to ask you all to pray for her, so God can use her there...Put the right words on her lips and that they please understand what she is saying, because her spanish is horrible! :)

Finally, i got a new computer! Thank God! 4 months without one...

Our house is kinda messy right now because we are renovating... :( Lot's of dust and a smoking constructor...

Oh it is almost 11:00pm and i´m in my aunt's beach house waiting, and having fun while my cousins talk about teir wishes for 2010.

My 2009 was fun,but it also sad.

Was the year that i went to a major and fun trip with my church; :)

Was the year Nahla Dot died; :(

I can rembember lots of things,good and bad...

Is just me, or anyone else feels extremely tired after a VACATION?

Well, we spent a week at my Uncle Afrânio's house, it was so much fun!

We got there thursday, july 25th,and got back home on August 6th. I got the chance to hang out with my amazing cousins, and laugh about our crazy childhood histories! We used to live all in the same town and go to the same school, in the same class room... Me and My cousin Amana we're constantly together, and always up to something... Ha!

I miss them so much... They are so dear to me... But now i have to regain all the energy i lost in this one week of pure fun!

Hello dear friends from blogger world!!

I know i've been a little off these past days,but i was kinda sick with the flue... Not influenza... Just the plain old flue... Thank God!!

I was also very sad because i had to go back to the doctors to do some news tests and i didnt like the results...

Basically we are back to square one... Another diet... Another list of DON'TS...

Oh God... When i tought that i was free... But that's life and we need to be brave. I'm more worried with Mom... She way more paranoid than before... She won't relax for a second! She is aways following me and asking if i am okay if i'm fealing anything... Its weird.

So please pray for us... We are needing every prayer!

As some of you may already know,my beloved contry will be hosting the FIFA WORLD CUP 2014.

But the greatest news came just yesterday... Natal (my city!!!) will be hosting some of the games!!!

Yay! We are soooo happy... I know that the cup is a few years away but,the improvement that will bring to our dear Natal is going to be huge!

So, if you are a soccer fan... You can't miss the World cup... And the perfect chance to know the city that earn the title of "The bride of the sun".

Mother's day part 2

Our family has a rule, Mother's day is the ony holiday that we are alowed to give Mom any kind of house utensils.

In the other holidays we have to give her something for her personal use...Hahaha.

This year's Mother' day started like every other mother's day,we woke up and made her a really fun breakfast and gave her present... We got her a new washing machine, luckly the people from the store delivered just in time! At 7:30 a.m... Not bad at all,since the last time we tryed to make her a suprise on mother's day,the people from the store showed up 2 days late...

We wrote little messages all over the machine...ha!

Unfortunately,the other photos we took from the breakfast was some how deleted from my camera... (please, don't ask me how...)

Usually we made breakfast and Dad take us all to lunch in this little resturant o the beach,but, he had to work today,because is raining a lot (yeah... finally!) and this caused a "tiny" flood in some oil fieldand he had to go and stay there until wednesday... Oh rain, you suposed to be my friend!!

So, later that night my mom had to go to church for a meeting, we thought it would be nice to surprise her with a dinner...

I cooked a very nice meal (Yeah...that's what everyone told me!!Ha...), and Cassia made the dessert.

And we gave her new wine glasses and a new tea set... She loved! Thank god!!

And she has no idea that tthe suprises arent over... Since Dad couldnt be here,next sunday he's gonna make a veeeeeeeeeeeeery special suprise!!!

Please dont tell her... Hahaha...

I like to think that everyday is Mother's day... But is so nice that we can take a specific to honor the first person in our lives!!

Last saturday was my birthday,ans i have to say that was a nice but at the same time a strange day...

A truck crashed my Mother's car, while it was parked!

And later the door of her favorite cabinet fell of, nd broke into tiny pieces of class...

She was so sad... But at the same time relieved cause it didin't hurt anyone.

My day starte nice, i woke up with everyone in my room singing happy birth day to me witch ws very fun! And Mom got this breakfast basket from my favorite bakery. And Dad got me this relly nice red flowers!

I was a little sleepy...

Later we had a little dinner party with a awesome cake for dessert... Ha...

We definitely need some rain around here... The weather i hot,so hot that is hard to think trough all this insane warm weather! We are praying for some rain!

Today our dear Pastor Carmen came to have lunch with us. We had to eat outside hoping to feal some breeze.

We had green beans with brown rice and a organic chicken from my grandfather's farm.YUMMY!!

After lunch we all went to the living roomto talk,with the help of a fan of course! We read the bible and talked about the many blessings in our lives! We love Pastor Carmen she is a true woman of God!

We learned more about the scriptures...

Miracle...

"Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?"

Jeremiah 32.27

Every single day is a miracle from God to our lives... Every breath we take and every move we make! It all comes from Him, and without Him we have nothing!

These past days we saw and felt the great mercy of the Lord in our family in a miraculous way. Doing some routine exams my Mom's doctor found an unusual lump in one of her breasts, i was there and i saw the look on the Doctor's face... It wasn't good. She immediately send Mom to do a lot of tests. After seeing the sonogram she told us that Mom had to do a biopsy, we got so worried because my grandmother and my grandaunt both had cancer, so it was a huge risk for Mom.

We called every single friend we have to pray for her. We was asking God for another miracle, and He did! After a few days she got back to the Doctors to prepare to do the procedure, while she was looking for the lump, she kept saying "Its gone". She looked in Mom's eyes and said "Nisia, you need to kneel down and thank God... The lump is gone!"

It really was gone! After another sonogram they could indeed confirm that it all was perfectly clear!

How great is our God???

Dad gave me the best present ever!! Hahaha!(Can you fell the level of happiness?) Sarturday,we went out and brought home a new puppy!

We namer her Pipa (is pronounced peepa) that in portuguese means kite, we just love tha sound of her name. She is a yorkshire.

The only thing is that she doesnt sleep much at night,witch means no sleep for me either...

MY FIRST MEATLOAF...

My mom makes the best meatloaf!! Tasty and indescribable ... Ha! We love when she makes it, especially Dad because is he’s favorite dish.

So yesterday he had this idea... Of making one meatloaf for Mom... At first i didn’t want to because of my sisters "fiasco" when she tried to make one, it turn out awful... Nobody could eat it, just terrible... So i thought if she cant do it... Why can i???

But after hours of Dad's arguments, I gave it a shot... He said that he would be my "lovely assistant" and he would help me trough the process... Well he’s idea of "help" was playing with the dog while i did the whole thing by my self! MAN!!

Haha!! Well i follow the "Holy recipe" step by step... I have to confess that Mom helped with the gravy because my assistant was having some deep talk with Lolah...

And after one whole hour of waiting by the oven... He was done!! Ready... Wow!! My first meatloaf turn out great!! Moist and soft... Not as good as Mom's but still GOOD!! Haha...

Now i can add this one to my cooking list!!

Since we had to cut our trip short on such a hurry, we had to leave our luggage with the rest of the group and we could only get them when they arrive here witch would only happen on the 28th... But, the funny thing that i noticed when i got home on Saturday, was the fact that my sister and company where more worried with our luggage and the presents that where inside of them, that with the fact that i was literally puking my guts out...

Anyway i notice that not just my Dad (who was literally crying when he went to the airport to pick us up) was missing me... Lolah was too... A LOT!!! Since i got home she won't leave alone! Every place I go she is there... If i go to the kitchen, she is there... To the backyard, she is there... Even on the bathroom... Usually she won't get in because she is afraid of the shower but since Saturday every time i go to the bathroom... She is there with me... What a loyal kind of love!! And funny too!!

So, the bags arrived yesterday night and of course my sister and the gang was here to claim their presents... The only one that wasn’t on the line screaming "where is mine??? Where is mine??" Was the first one to receive it... Lolah got a sweet "bling" for her neck... I think she loved it!!

Sorry... I know i said that i would post some pics from my trip, but we dind't had the time!

We got sick during the trip and we had to get back a few days early... Not cool at all...

I'm feeling really bad right now so please pray for me... I had to go to the hospital 3 times... 2 times when i was away and one time on sunday... We arrived on saturday night.

A trip!

Last year we received a invitation from a group of friends to go on this cross-country trip. We've got really excited to go,but first we needed to have the doctors approval... I got really worried because i wanted to go so badly!! And Mom need some adventure...

So in December,Mom went to talk with them, basically to know their thoughts about the trip,after all is going to be 20 days on the road... First they told her to wait a little,we needed to do some "things" before they could tell us "yes" or "no".

Mom told me to pray... And i did... A lot!! I was worried that something would happen and the answer would be a big "NO"... Waiting can be sooo stressful!

Anyway,when Mom went there to know the results she was so happy to know that the answer was "YES"!! We got so happy!! An adventure... Something different!! Haha!!

We are in a countdown to the day we will leave... Just 4 days until the big day!! We leave 01/08 and we will return home on 01/28... 20 days of pure fun!! The only bad news we got is that Dad won't be able to go,because he really needs to work... But he won't be alone,my sister is coming over to stay with him! And Lolah is aways a good company! LOL...

So dear friends pray for me!! I will keep a journal trough the days and i will be posting some cool pics from the awesome places i will visit... Can't wait to start!!

We cant stop praying for our brothers and sisters from persecuted churches... They need us!

Pastor speaks about the difficulty of being a Christian in Myanmar

Saw Stephen, 34,from the karen ethnic, has tried to serve as a pastor in
the Karenni state since 1996. But like many Christians in Myanmar, Saw suffer
persecution by the country's military board, known as the State Peace and
Development Council (SPDC).

"The first church that was a pastor, Baptist Protection Church, had more
than 250 people, but the military government [of Burma] came and destroyed it.
This happened in April 1999. The military burned the people’s houses and, with
axes and poles, destroyed the church, "said Saw to the news agency Christian
Freedom International."I was captured and brought to the military office.

I was arrested for four months in a small room, without being able to
have contact with my family. After the release I was reallocated to another
church, the Law Da Lay Baptist Church in the state of Karenni. We had over 120
families; More than 600 people attended the church. Most of the residents of the
town were Christian.

On November 5Th of 2003, the military government came to the village and
ordered them to leave. They said: 'If you do not leave within a week you will be
our enemies.’ They have not explained why we had to leave. The soldiers
destroyed our church. No one else was in the village, everyone moved away. Most
fled into the jungle. I went to the refugees camp in Thailand.

The government [of Myanmar] won’t allow us to rebuild the churches. They
will not allow any church building in the country. Now, I can not stay in one
place for a long period of time. I’m going from one place to another. It’s not
safe for me. The government of Myanmar is unchristian.

They are afraid that Christianity brings Western customs." It is ruining
our culture’ they say. They see the Christianity as a western religion.' This is
the main religion of the West ' They say , 'That's why they hate and are afraid
of this religion.

The Military board leaders said that the people of Myanmar have to be
careful about the Christians:
‘The Western policies can come and go in front
of us.'
They say.

People are starving in Burma. I see so many children dying of hunger. No
one can change Burma. Only God can change Myanmar. Please pray for us. "

This is my wonderful niece Hadassa... She is so precious to our hearts and we love her so much!!

We went to her house last week,and we had a very fun time with her and Sara (her mom).

Some times in our life,some things would happen that may try to bring us down... Or to make us lose our faith in God.

When we first heard from the doctors about my condition it was like everything had just crashed.I was mad at God... Why would he allow this to happen to me?? I was in my first year of high school and i had to stop going because of the symptoms,and i couldn't even be home schooled. It was a tough time for all of us. My parents tried everything to cheer me and not to lose my faith in the Lord... But i was to sad,to angry,to skeptical.

I would spend all day in my room crying,and didn't wanted to see anyone. I woundn't pray or sing anymore.

Until one day,i remember it was the 3rd anniversary of the "bad news day" I remember i was in my bed looking to the ceiling... And i just start to hear this soft song rising from inside my heard...

"Deus está me preparando para um novo tempo.Deus está me ensinando a viver pra ele cada momento e a tribulação só produz em mim paciência e a solidão nunca vai me roubar a certeza da sua presença!"

"God is preparing me for a new time. God is teaching me to live for him in every moment and the tribulation produces patience in me, and solitude will never steal the certainty of His presence!"

"Deus está me ensinando a viver, Deus está me ensinando a sonhar, Deus está me preparando para ver todas as promessas que eu vou conquistar! Deus está me ensinando a obedecer, Deus está me ensinando a amar e enquanto eu espero a minha benção, Deus está me ensinando a adorar!"

It hit me so hard... God was truly speaking to me! How selfish i was being! Sure i was i pain,and yes it was a hard time... But He was beside me! And He gave me the best family in the world that was taking care of me.

I started to cry... And my heart that once was a very dry valley... Now was starting to blossom! Trough all the hard times,i was never alone! I shout to Jesus... I WANT TO FALL IN LOVE WITH YOU ALL OVER AGAIN... Please help my heart to heal ,to remember your sweet promises... I want to have a heart that is like a young bride flooded with love for her groom!

Jesus reminded me that i was a human... And humans can suffer pain, but He will be aways there to remind that His love is better than life!

"These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." John 16.33

I was renewed instantly!!I pray that my heart will aways remember the love and grace that God pours on it every day!

Now,5 years later,im still on the process... But it is getting better! I'm finally finishing high school, and by the grace of God, next year i will start College! Looking back i see what the lord has done in my life... It so much more than i could hope for!

Please pray for the Christians that are persecuted because of they re faith...

-Pray for Ami, a 15-year-old boy wounded by a bomb earlier this year. He lost two toes, and the injured nerves cause him a lot of pain. Pray for him and for his parents, so that God heal their psychological and physical wounds.

- Pray for young Christians from Syria who are going through a proof of faith around the holidays. Sometimes, life is difficult with Jesus in a different context, and it's easy to forget God when the situation is complicated.

-Pray for brother David Katni, from India, who was arrested under false accusations on July 3. Pray for that, as the case against him is taking place, he can experience the divine help of the Lord and that false accusations could be canceled.

- Last December in Ethiopia, a young girl named Sofia accepted Christ after a friend from school introduce her to Jesus. She joined a group of ex-Muslims, where she learned to share the gospel. Recently, her parents found her Bible hided between the school books, then Sofia told of her conversion. Her parents were furious, and she had to flee to the house of a friend. Pray for Sofia, as she learns to trust in God. Pray for her future because she's still on high school.

- Most of the converted Mauritanians are afraid of being discovered as a Christian. That's because those who convert are rejected by they're families and the society. Ask God for more solidarity among the local Christians in that country!

Please don't forget these brothers and sisters and the hundreds of persecuted Christians around the globe!

Here we have a holiday that's called "children's day" on October 12th,its mostly a day for kids to play and win more gifts. A while ago when my sister and i where no longer in our "childrenhood" Dad changed the name of this holiday to "Sons and Daughters day" so we could still enjoy and win goodies!!

He said: "There is a Fathers day and a Mothers day,once a parent aways a parent... So why this holiday have to be only for children's? All sons and daughters can enjoy it too!!"

He is amazing... Since i'm pretty much the only one left,its usually me,Mom an Dad doing something,but Dad had to work this year so it was a "girls day".

We went to the beach to see the dolphins,mom tried to take a pic of one of them but,i guess he was a very shy dolphin... Tired of hanging with the camera,i took a pic with the only one close enough...

We had a some fun...

We had some fish...

And went to a little fair of handicrafts...

Later we went to the Oxfest witch is a fair that has farm animals,handicrafts,typical foods... All the things a fair has.

But the novelty that we saw was a very strange food... Ostrich sausage!! Yes a sausage made with ostrich meat... We ate it... And is really good!!

I think someone forgot to feed this poor guy!

Today i wont post any photos... Today i want to honor a brave woman who lived a tough live,but died a wonderful death...

All i know is that she was born in 1976,don't know the day she never told me,she hated birthdays. All she ever wanted was to get married,all her sisters and young brother got married before her and this was a very hard thing to deal with.

But instead of being depress or shut down in her own sorrow she was in every single service at the church... Mornings,afternoons,evenings,even late night! She was there praying for the end of her loneliness. I remember when she was staying in our house she would tell me her dreams,of how her future husband would be how they would live... She was full of hopes and a very faithful person! We talked a lot and she was so funny,she would make me laugh just with her look... I deeply loved her,i still do!

One day she came in to our house with a glow in her face. She set in the couch and said...I think i've found the one!! We just wouldn't believe...How?? Where??Who??

Then she told us about him,he was a widower,had a son and was much older than her... We got worried..."Is this what you truly want for you?" She said "Yes,i'm in love with him!"

And after everything came very easy,they got married,she couldn't stop smiling!! Was a very beautiful ceremony,we all cryed... Wilma is finally getting married!!

Short after her wedding,we moved back here,because of my treatments,actually,we aways lived here we moved to Assu (that's the name of Wilma's town) because of my Dad's job,we never liked living there,Mom constantly prayed for us to get back to Natal,and Wilma was our aways steady prayer buddy!

We constantly talked to her,she was a very happy wife...Loving her husband and her new life… At least was what she told us... Because the truth was a whole different thing.

Shortly after they where married,he took her to live in a very distant and old farm,without electricity,phone or running water, she had to take water from a very deep and dirty well. He was constantly leaving her alone in that strange and dangerous place.

She got pregnant twice,it was another dream that she wanted to fulfill,her sister told us that she tough that if she had a child,she would never be alone. She lost both babies.

Never in this difficult process that she was going trough,she stoped to smile or preach,every single opportunity that she had to be in church,she was there... Even if it meant having to depend on several hours waiting for a transportation,but still,she would go with a very thankful heart.

One they when they're both alone her husband received a message from a strange man that she had never seen before. When the man was gone,her husband rushed inside,grabbed a bag and said to her: "The police is coming,lock the doors and do not open... Even if they ask you to!" She wasn't understanding what was happening... She just lock the doors and waited. When the police arrived she found out by them that her farm was being used to sell illegal gas,and that now she was arrested!

She went to jail because of her coward husband! The morning of her arrest we received a desperate phone call from her brother-in-law saying "Wilma was arrested last night,the police took her to a jail there in Natal,can you please go there?" Mom almost passed out,she couldn't believe in what she was hearing! "Wilma??In jail???How??" After he explained to Mom what had happen to her, she went to see her... She was shaking..." I am scared" She said to Mom."But still,i guess that the only things i can do now is pray to get out and preach to the women here."

Three days after,she was released,the charges against her where dropped.We all went to her saying we would be at her side,that she could leave him,he was a coward and didn't deserve her.
She look at us and just said."No, i won't leave him.I've maid a promess,and i will keep it until the end"

I just couldn't understand,i think that i still don't... Why after waiting for so long for a husband and then ended up with a man like that? Her Pastor and family said to her that if she wanted to leave him they would support her decision,but still she said that she wouldn't break the promess she had made before God.

A few months after,she agreed to stay with her mother for a few days. I guess the situation wasn't getting any better,and she needed a rest... Or she already knew what would happen...

On August 31st,a sunday,she went to Church with her Mother,It was a Women's service and at the end Pastor Nubia,the Senior Pastor's wife called her to say something to the church since she hadn't being around much. She stepped in to the pulpit and softly said:" I missed being here so much... But i know that,there is time for everything,and my time has come" She also said: "Never stop singing,laughing and dancing for Jesus... Cause if you stop,life will stop to make any sense." Then she read Ecclesiastes 3:

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under
the
heaven:

A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to
plant, and a time to pluck
up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a
time to heal;
A time to break
down, and a time to build up;
A time to
weep, and a time to laugh;

After she read this,she said that she was feeling a joy so great that if everybody could feel it,cant help but sing,dance and shout to God!And then she started to sing a song,and as she was singing,she slowly fainted and fell down. The Pastors ran to pick her up and take her to the hospital,but when they got there,she was dead.
She died of a heart attack... She died singing... Her time indeed had come... God called her and she went. She wanted rest,she wanted to see Him! She was tired of the suffering,and she couldn't break a promess.

On monday morning we received the phone call. Wilma had died,we where shocked! Why? When? How?
Her sister-in-law told us briefly... We couldn't understand... She was 32 years old!

When my aunt came to visit us,she told me this story... I cryed,but yet i understood.
I knew Wilma,i knew how she was... She had a pure heart and a innocence that some people just couldn't understand... She was a passionate christian that did what ever she could to the kingdom!

I loved her,and i still do! I will never forget the funny times we spent together,the endless talks on the kitchen... Hiding chocolate from Mom so we could have more to ourselves. Mourning the mango tree from the backyard when it died... She was amazing!!

My dear friend,now is living in a place made for her...With so much joy and laughter...She is more alive than ever!!

Today i got up early,Dad wasn't home so the day would just be me and Mom... I got very excited cause every day just the two of us means going out for lunch and then...SHOPPING!!

After we did some laundry,we went to lunch at this restaurant close to our house called Maturi they have an amazing art collection!

After lunch we went to a department store to buy some new cushions for the couch,and i was going to get some new socks that i so desperately need... I saw on the store catalog the cutest socks ever... So i was prepared to buy lots of them! And mom was going to finally get a new coffee machine. We had the smallest and the oldest coffee maker!! Dad never wanted to buy a new one,cause he said that the small one are aways the strong ones... And this indeed was!! My tried everything to get a new one but all of her effort didn't worked... Until Dad tried to make coffee and finally broke the thing! Mom jumped!! Finally!!Justice!!

So,we got in to the store super excited and happy... Mom found the cushions she wanted, the coffee maker,and something more...Women's always buy something more!!!

I was looking for the socks i wanted,looked everywhere,and couldn't find them,until i asked an helper and she said "Oh...Those kitty sock sold out!! But i gonna see if i can find one for you inside" And she did found 3 pairs for me... I was glad! At least i have 3 new socks...lol

Mom got me a basketball and Lolah enjoyed very much!! She keeps pushing and running after it... She's craaaaaaaaaaaazy!! That's why we love her!!!

Finally,WE MOVED!!!

The new house is great! I am loving it!! The moving day was a little stressful but,we've maneged to be calm... The movers got here almost 4 hours late,and we're starting to get nervous cause nobody here like to stay without something to do.

When i got here friday morning i brought with me some of my bathroom things that was easy to carry,and started to put in they're place...

My Aunt Iara painted this beautiful towel to my new bathroom.

My Dad left everything to do in the last minute...we had to put some outlets in the rooms and we didn't had time to paint... Now we have this big white stains in our walls...

My friend Aysha send me this amazing CD... Leeland,i was dying to buy but i couldn't find here...

I was sooo happy when i got it,that i put it on my ipod and was my "moving day "soundtrack...

Mom got tired to wait...

The house is not quite finished,but we're getting there... I trying my best to unpack the rest of the boxes,cause they're so annoying!!

You can hear lots of people say that they parents are they heroes...

And i cant disagree with them,cause my parents are my heroes!

When they first found out was wrong with my health (first my mom did,then my dad,and later they told me...) they changed every single thing in they're life just to take care of me!

My dad was the first one to say:"Ok we need to move,you need to be in a different place!" And when that didn't work out anymore,he didn't think twice,off we went and then we moved here.

Last year my mom heard one of the doctor say that some outdoor time in the backyard would be good for me,but since we lived in a building we don't really have a backyard of our own... So when she told this to Dad... He said,no problem we'll just move again...

If i was going to tell you every single thing that my parents gave up to take care of me...Would take the whole year... I'm so glad they are in my life...A true gift from God!

Just to give you a little tip of how amazing they are and fun and creative... When i was a kid i had this amazing doll house,with everything you can possibly imagine,but in one of this moves if got lost...The most part of it anyway... So last week my Dad got home with this bags full of doll furniture... Yep... toys!!!

He came to me and said:

"Remember you old doll house?"

And i said:

"Yes, i still have some of it saved..."

And then he told me:

"Well that was a lame doll house! We need a project so this is what we're gonna do,we're gonna build the best doll house ever!!"

"But Dad... I'm 23 years old..."

"So what??? We're never to old to be kids!! You have to learn to enjoy life,and play a little!"

So,when we settled in the new house,me and my dad have a project... We're gonna build a huge doll house! Oh my god...(HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA)

A brazilian pastor named Ana Paula Valadão Bessa wrote it when she was going to a bad moment in her life... This song has helped me so much!

Well today i went to my doctors,to do the treatment that i need,but don't like at all...
I went to the clinic around a 14:50 and got back at 18:00 as usual... Bur this time,when i stepped inside my room,i almost fainted... Look at the chaos!

My wardrobe is gone!!lol... my clothes are all over the place!

Well i guess that's all part of the moving process... Can't wait to be over!!

So... The moving day had to be postponed,we have to fix some things in the new house before moving in! But,is not a very heavy work that we need to do,we'll be able to get in the house Friday... And that's for sure!

Anyway, Mom wanted to take Lolah's last photos in the building gardens,it was a very fun idea,cause Lolah is quite a runner so we've had to scream at her so she could sit still for a moment witch was a very hard thing to do... Everybody here loves her and wanted to take a picture with her but since she has a lot of sniffing and peeing to do every time someone call her,she ran to the opposite way... The only one that she attended was the janitor of the building and the love of her life Nelson,because she thought he was going to take her for a walk on the block... Poor dog...

She will miss the elevator...

Ok, now let me tell you... I didn't know how many "junk" i had until i started packing... So much stuff that i didn't even remembered i had... Of course i just throw some of it away,now let's see if in the new house i wont do the same thing...All this time i was complaining of how little space i had to put my stuff,but the truth was that i had to much trash saved in my drawers,things that i didn't needed,and would be useless to other people... Now, i will really have to learn to be a light packer,because my new room...Well,is not as big has my old room... But,i am glad with my new house,and i'm looking forward to move there on friday!!

Now the whole apartment is a complete mess,including my room. There is boxes everywhere and i have to unload my wardrobe so it can be disassembled...

Look the mess... I really cant find anything here...

But until tonight everything will be packed! At least i hope so....

Oh,and Lolah looooves to help...

Hopefully this will be our last day in this apartment... We are finally moving to a house!! My Dad is very excited,course i guess no one wanted get out of here more than him! Unfortunately,he won't be able to help us with the moving process cause he is out working,he works at a oil platform for a company called PETROBRAS,so he travels a lot... he don't like travelling,but he loves his job,so gives a balance to the thing!! Anyway this weekend,me and dad helped mom with the grocery shopping,if there is something that she doesn't like at all, is the supermarket,so we always try to make as fun as possible!

Hey!!

Well, yesterday night we've had a little "get together" here... My sisters Raquel and Kezia (they are not my blood sisters,it is a complicated history...) came home to dinner and brought my niece Raane,Raquel's husband Messias work's at nigth so she has a lot of free time to visit us!

We always have a lot of fun when Raane is here... Must of the fun comes from the reaction of our dog Lolah, she has a pathological fear of children's,since the daughter of a friend of ours tried to ride in her back... Now every time a child comes here,she hides! Is really funny!

Lazy Tuesday.

Yesterday i had a day that i didn't had in a looooong time... A lazy day!

Actually, i think i was needing for a very long time. I stayed all day in,with my PJ'S on and a nice and warm blanket in my fluffy couch,catching up some late reading,listening some MercyMe and Marcos Witt,I had my personal and intimate moment with the Lord! It was amazing!

I didn't realize how important this "alone time" with the Lord are to us... It helps us to know Him more deeply,and bring us more close to His heart!

I remembered that in one of this "alone times" God told Abraham:

"And, behold, the word of the LORD unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir.

And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be." Genesis 15.4 & 5

And to Moses:

"And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush not consumed.

And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. Do not get me wrong,I love my church, attend to the services is mi duty as a christian. But there somethings that we need to do by our selves,we need to be able to recognize the voice of the Lord,and this we will only learn if we'll learn to daily talk to Him in the secret,in intimacy.

" But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly." Mathew 6.6b

That's what i needed to learn, and that's what Jesus teached me yesterday... My so called "Lazy day" Actually was a "Learn to pray day".

Today is monday... lol!

Every monday afternoon,my mom and i go out to our favorite restaurant here in Natal, Mangay!
Is not a very fancy place,but sure is special to our family. It has a very fun decoration,the walls of the place are covered with bananas... Yep... BANANAS!

They are free... If want to eat one,you can just pull them right from the wall!

Here in Natal,you will find very funny things... Specially the restaurants,and The Mangay is not a exception, outside you can see a big white rooster in the roof, he is not real... But sure seems to be!

In the entrance we are greeted in by 2 of the most famous characters of the brazilians folklore, Uncle Barnabé and Aunty Anatascia... From the book of Monteiro Lobato a popular children's book author.

As you enter the dining area and look up to the ceiling your eyes will stare at a man standing in a very narrow thing right above our heads! Pretty funny!

On the way to the wc's there's a lake with a very happy fisherman in his little boat...

We aways have a great time at Mangay! My mom loves this place... If she could she'll live in it! Is a great place for a nice and old typical food!

Canjica,Pamonha,or salt tapioca... Are some of the delicious dishes from the menu... My favorite is Butter made cheese with guava Jam.

Doesn't look very pretty,but is a veeeeeeeeeeery tasty!!! My mom is more a canjica type of person:

Haha... This was my Monday... Like every other Monday...My second favorite day in the week.

Today is not a very good day for me... You know that kind of days that you just want to scream?(LOL) I have been felling kind of stuck,like everybody is moving,but I'm just staying in the same place... God knows i have tried to do something,but i can't find strength to lift my finger! Today i opened my bible and that's the first thing i read:

"Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, {bless} his holy name. Psalm 103.1"

Man, that's kind a hard thing to do when your mind is full with... I don't really know what it is,but i know that's not very good.
But than i start to thing of all the days that i was felling worst than this,and how the Lord has deliver me when i start to praise his name! Is like a song that my mom loves to sing that says:

" When i look to the sky, and only see black clouds, i close my eyes and understand that the rain is coming to heal my weary soul"

Today continues to sucks,but despite of everything that's happen. I have the healing rain falling on me... The healing rain from Christ!!!

I know is a lame port,but is only my first... I'll hope i will get better!
